Reach out if you have specific skills training you need for your providers and we can tailor a program for you, including the use of our new lab space.

The Handtevy Pre-Hospital Pediatric Provider Course is a 4-hour live lecture and hands-on course that focuses on the skills needed to rapidly and accurately treat the sick and injured pediatric patient.  The course uses the basic tenets of ACLS training as the foundation while still covering the basic pediatric ALS principles and nuances. The course and is intended to be used with the Handtevy Pediatric System. 

TDAC
Learn the full range of airway management techniques — including use of video laryngoscopes & other advanced imaging devices, extraglottic devices, drug-assisted intubation and cricothyrotomy. Work with expert faculty who know the unique challenges facing EMS providers. Use proven airway devices in small group sessions. Practice decision-making and airway techniques in various simulations. Face the most challenging patient scenarios in a no-risk environment. 
TECC

The 16-hour classroom course includes hemorrhage control, complete coverage of the MARCH assessment, surgical airway control and needle decompression, strategies for treating wounded responders in threatening environments, caring for pediatric patients, techniques for dragging and carrying victims to safety, and a final, mass-casualty/active shooter event simulation.

AMLS is a sixteen-hour, two-day program that consists of interactive lectures, teaching and evaluation stations. The interactive / case-based lectures include the following topics: altered mental status and neurologic disorders, respiratory dysfunction, shock, chest discomfort, endocrine, metabolic and environmental disorders, abdominal discomfort, infectious disease, and toxicological emergencies, hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction.Teaching stations follow the associated lectures each day.

Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care.  PHTLS is developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma. The Committee provides the medical direction and content oversight for the PHTLS program.
